Busy Week!

This past week has been super busy but also tons of fun!  On Monday Liam went to VBS at my mom and dad's church(Col. Heights Baptist).  He was a bit anxious to say the least about staying alone but once he got there and got going he had a blast!  Maggie was in awe when we walked in the door and there were huge balloons hanging from the ceiling and then we get in the sanctuary to see the HUGE airplane! 

 

 Then on Tuesday Liam decided he would rather stay home and play with some friends!  Ellie was coming over to play for the day and then we also had some other friends stop by!  Liam loved playing with Parker and Kaitlyn and baby Joann for a while and then of course Ellie was with us for the whole afternoon!

After The Grogg's left we all had lunch and then headed outside to play in the pool and yard.  The girls decided it was to chilly to play in the pool so they ended up just running around for a bit before heading back inside.

 As you can see by the end of the day we had one Pooped little lady!  She crawled up on the couch with me to watch TV and fell fast asleep!

  

 Then on Wednesday Liam decided that instead of going to VBS again he wanted to go to the $1 movies with Ms Kelly, Sarah and Asha!  So we packed up our stuff and headed to the movies.  This weeks movie was Happy Feet 2 and it was a perfect movie for Maggie's first movie(well for all purposes... last one she was at she was a couple weeks old and in my moby wrap asleep the whole time)

She loved all the dancing and singing and even did great with staying still most of the time!  About 30mins from the end i did put her in her stroller and she promptly fell asleep(guess she was still tired from the day before). 

Luckily today we only had one thing to do and that was return something to walmart(which we did after lunch) and besides that we just hung around the house.  Liam would have gone to VBS but he decided to sleep in til 9:30a(totally unheard of) so he missed it today... hoping he makes it tomorrow but i guess we will see!  

Hoping not to melt tomorrow since its suppose to be super hot in VA... 101* I do believe.

Beach Babies!

Last Weekend we headed to Grammy and Grandpa's house in Williamsburg to visit.  Grammy was helping me make Maggie's birthday skirt(that turned out super cute) out of red bandanas and then we all headed down to their neighborhood "beach".  Its really on the river but the kids still had a blast!

Grandpa, Daddy and Liam went down earlier than the girls and put a crab trap out in the water and had some man time while we finished up the skirt then Maggie and I headed down to the beach.

It was a bit warm but atleast there was a nice breeze and of course the water to cool off in!  Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Brian even brought the twins to come and play!  It was just an overall great time!

Liam had a blast jumping and swimming around in the water and even Maggie was brave enough to venture in up to her belly(with the help of holding mommys hand)

Maggie loved building sand castles and she even got Liam to help her out!

Pool Day :)

Today the temps reached Triple Digits around here so our wonderful Friends invited us to hang with them at the pool this morning!


Liam was so excited since he is part fish and loves the water!  Maggie was a little more cautious about the water but did eventually get in as long as i was close in the big pool(less that 4 ft) but she really loved running around in the kiddie pool with her buddies.  Overall We had a great time and hope to do it again really soon!

Father's Day Weekend!

This past weekend was Father's Day and we had a blast!   Unfortunately Travis was sick for most of it but feeling much better thanks to antibiotics on Sunday!  Saturday the kids are I went to a close friends birthday party!  

Eva Turned 3 and We had a great time partying with her and her family!  

Then on Sunday we all slept in and then had some yummy Doughnuts for breakfast before heading over to Maliegh and Grandads for homemade banana ice cream!  While there we all headed outside to have a water balloon fight!  The kids had a great time but i do believe my youngest brother Austin had the BEST!

Finally the war was over and we all headed inside to open presents and get dry... 

  We all had a great day and a perfect end to the weekend!  The kids were pooped and it made for a easy going night!

Twister

This past weekend we decided to stay home and get some stuff done around the house.  So on Saturday we deCluttered the living room and kitchen and then Sunday we did some yardwork in prep for Maggie's birthday in a month.  After all the yardwork got done(well truth be told it got to hot) we headed inside for lunch and then Liam asked to play a board game... well he came up with.... 

Yep You got it... Liam asked to play a game and Travis thought it would be fun to play Twister.  I can safely say this was the first time I have ever played myself but it turned out to be super fun!  

 Liam decided for the first game he was going to spin so it was me and Daddy playing and of course Maggie joined in for kicks! 

Then I had a game with Liam who laughed and giggled the whole time

Finally when i had won our game the kids decided to use the mat as a dance floor :) 

Cupcake Time!  And they enjoyed them ... every single bite!

Then poor Daddy was Pooped... So the kiddos went and got him a pillow and blanket and then thought to sleep with him!

Even though we stayed home for the weekend it was still a super fun time!
