Bye Bye Mrs Trudy

As eager as we are for Summer to begin we are all pretty sad that its the end of Liam's  Preschool career.  He has had a great time this past school year at Chester Child Development in Mrs Trudy's PreK class.  He has made many great friends and learned so much this past year!

We have truly loved him being in Mrs Trudy's Class!  He has bloomed into a bright and  confident little man and I know in part this is due to Mrs Trudy and how she has let him be who he is and embraced it!    She has answered all his questions without fail ( and we all know how many questions he can come up with) and shown him how fun learning can be!  My biggest hope for him in Kindergarten and beyond is that he continue to have Teachers that are as Awesome as Mrs. Trudy!

To show her how awesome we think she is and that we will MISS her dearly!  Liam and I made her a gift for the end of the year!

We started by gathering all of our supplies after a fun trip for Me and Maggie this morning to Hobby Lobby( I could loose myself in there!)

Once we got all of that together we had a bigger job ahead of us.  We needed only the Blue, Orange, Yellow and Red M&Ms so we set to sorting out the green and brown ones out of that big bag of M&Ms.  Liam thought it was really fun especially once we got to eat some of the extra ones.

Once we got them mostly sorted Liam was super excited to add them to the candy jar!

After that was done we put the lid back on the candy jar and started getting the stuff together to add the wooden Apple to the top!  Liam plugged in the hot glue gun and we were ready to go... I added the glue to the lid and Liam pushed the apple into place!

Then it was time for me to write out the poem(since my printer is broken).  After many attempts it finally gets done and ready for the gift.

While I was assembling the poem the kiddos had an idea of their own.  Yep you got it Sticker body and wall art.

Here is the Final product!  Liam and I had such a great time making this gift and I hope Mrs Trudy will enjoy it half as much as we did making it!
